What a cookie does here

A cookie is a small text file that a site stores on your device so it can recognise the device next time. This site uses very few of them, because there are no accounts, no shopping basket and no saved progress to keep track of. Two cookies keep the site lawful and usable; anything beyond that is optional and waits for your permission.

Strictly necessary cookies

• age_ok — records that you confirmed you are 19 or older, so the age gate does not reappear on every page. Expires after 30 days. Without it we cannot show you an adults-only site lawfully, so it is set as soon as you confirm your age and cannot be switched off while you use the site.
• cookie_ok — records that you have answered the cookie notice, so it stops appearing. Expires after 180 days.

Optional cookies

Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you allow them through the notice at the bottom of the screen. They tell us which pages people open and whether an advertisement led to a visit. They never carry your name or email address, because we do not have them unless you write to us.

• Analytics — aggregated counts of page views, entry pages and device types. Retained in aggregated form for up to 14 months.
• Advertising measurement — set by Google in connection with our campaigns, to attribute a visit to an advertisement.

Cookies the game frame may set

The play page embeds a demo title served directly by the studio that made it. When the frame loads, that studio's own servers receive your connection data and may set cookies of their own to run the demo session, entirely outside our control. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser usually stops them, and the game may then behave differently or refuse to load.

Changing your mind

Clear the cookies for dragworldusa.com in your browser settings and both the age gate and the cookie notice will appear again, letting you answer differently. Every current browser also lets you block cookies for a single site or for all sites; the help pages of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge describe the exact steps. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies means the age gate will show on every page.
